With a focus on contemporary independent publishing, Black Language Book Club presents a live exhibition with Anal Magazine, RRD, El Insulto and Andy Mountains, that sits in dialogue with Dylan Mira´s Duty Free currently on view at Karen Huber. The club departs from the notions of de/colonization as evidenced in body politics, and the definition of performativity that plays off the tensions between texts, images and graphics.
Black Language Book Club is a nocturnal salon of screenings, performances, special displays and pop-up installations that opens up a polysemous space for activities of and around the conceptual zone between the editorial and the curatorial.
