Murmuro is a project that produces ephemeral listening spaces dedicated to the different ways of listening and relating to sound.
For two days, Murmuro presents a program of live activities to delve within the subtle, expand our perceptions of sound and approach listening in a way that stems from our bodies.
On the first day, Murmuro a Cuatro Cuartos, a polyphonic piece, takes indoor space and features the participation of Rossana Lara, Fang Luba, CNDSD (Malitzin Cortes), Valentina Díaz, Lucía R., Esteban Ferro and Sara Fernández, who, based on their experimentations with telepathy, present a work of consonance in four parts.
On the second day, Dear Pauline, The Worms Also Dance, launched a series of actions, performances and talks that delve into the legacy of Pauline Oliveros and her work with Deep Listening. Alongside pieces by Ana Zambrano, Daniela Solís, and the Nuube sound ensemble, as well as a performance talk with the participants of Murmuro a Cuatro Cuartos.
